We are quite thrilled to now be able to offer our beloved coffee from Huehuetenago as a certified organic product. COMAL initiative, a collaboration of 88 coffee producers of the region, brought this beauty on the market. 22 members of the collaboration by now produce organic coffee only.
Planted and harvested at between 1400 and 1900 meters above sea level, this coffee is processed by the local farmers themselves, since centralized washing stations are rather uncommon in Guatemala. COMAL then takes responsibility for grading, selling and exporting the product.
